Whatever the reason I bet the LB loved the attention.

I met a recent London LB contact by chance in the street and we went out for a coffee in Starbucks. Once she had got over the shock that I was quite happy to acknowledge her in public we had quite a pleasant half hour or so (including it has to be said arranging a spot of extra curricular activity after work)

Certainly she attracted some attention from all creeds and colours but then again drop dead gorgeous laides tend to do that and she loved it.

If two stops on the Jubilee line count as a trip I could do a trip report is that allowed? (fear of Mr Grumpy rules )

I guess I'm getting thick skin to Mr. Grumpy. I would normally slander back, but I just feebly answer these last few months, as I have no energy to get into diatribe debates anymore...

I would say this has happened to me on the order of at least 100 times or more, i.e., young boys looking lustfully at my LB friend, and May in particular, when we go out. There is quite a big difference between a 'lust' look and staring. If you can't tell the difference, well, ok, I'm sorry for you.

As for pscho-babble analysis, this whole bloody forum is just that, especially this academia section. We're all trying to be pyschologists here. Every single topic is one of psychology and sociology. We'd have to stop most of the forum if we weren't all trying to do that.

Anyway, getting back to the topic...

1. It is well known that many LB have young Thai boyfriends. Assuming they do not hibernate in black caves with their boyfriends, when the moon is covered, one must presume it is socially acceptable in that age group to be with LB.

2. Being a senior businessman, I can assure you it is not acceptable for an older Thai man to be with a LB in any circumstance, even private. I work with Thais every day, and you hear the snarky remarks very often about LBs all the time. It would be death for any middle aged Thai or older to be seen with a LB.

3. As for whether they secretly desire to shag them, who knows, maybe they do, I have no idea about that. You made that comment not me. Probably some do. If anyone has any knowledge of that, that would be interesting.

4. Regarding money payment, I wrote "waiting for the money to come in", is what many Thai boys do, i.e., collect money from their LB girlfriends. This is well known. As to whether LBs buy sex, I read that in the forum, but I seriously doubt it is a very widespread amongst LBs. I have talked for 2 years with May about the LB scene, on every detail you can imagine, and such a thing was never brought up. I don't doubt it happens, but certainly not very common.

In conclusion, I think my theory actually does advance understanding of the LB scene quite a bit. If anyone has a better idea, please jump in! For grumpy answers, ok, if that gives you jollies, go ahead.
