Know any smart LBs?
I once met one a few years ago. Thought she was a complete moron. Then she explained to me the 15 rai of a rubber farm she had, the amount of rubber / month, and estimated income she'd make. She'd calculated she needed another 30 rai to retire. She'd figured it out to be about 5 years more work as a hooker.
Gina, often in Singapore, is building a 4-story building with 40 rooms in Khon Kaen near a University to rent out to students. She plans to retire fairly soon, and figures with the 40 rooms she can make ends meet. I have no doubt about it knowing Gina.
Lin in Phuket owns a few Family Marts, and at least one condo.
Maysa ran a salon for a while, didn't like the low season in Phuket and is now looking at other businesses.
My May has an Accounting Degree from Nakon Si Tammarat. She is now in her 2nd your of Computer Science in Bangkok, going for her second degree, and doing ok. She has told me her plan to work in a company for 2 years to get experience and then launch her own business using her technical and accounting skills.
Of course there's a lot on the other end of the spectrum. We all know them. But how about some stories on the smart ones?
