You can add "Kiss of the Spider Woman" - set in a South American prision. The gay gentleman is played by William Hurt, I believe.

Does "Psycho" belong on this list?  It seems like there are hundreds of movies presenting Transexualism in one form or another. Many depictions seem to be ridiculous or horrifying.



"Alice in Wonderland" movies frequently use a cross-dresser to depict the Dutchess character, who is supposed to be a very ugly woman. I believe it actually works in that case. Note that a recent production of Alice (with Ben Kingsley as the cattepillar and Whoopie Goldberg as the cheshire cat) used a female in the Dutchess role. It was a refreshing change.

'Pink Flamingo's', 'desperate living' and a few more could be added to the list.

there is one scene in pink flamingo's , when a really hot bird pulls up her skirt to reveal a tackle.

also Pedro almodovar, nearly all his films feature trannies,
All About My Mother , bad education etc

and 'The Ages Of Lulu'- another spanish film, pretty hard to watch though- the filth content is quite high!

Has anyone seen (or read) Last Exit to Brooklyn (book written by Hubert Selby Jnr)? While both formats are (for me) as compelling as a train wreck - you cant help but watch - they are both also kinda hot.....

what was that film...i think a recent one where one scene featured the Tgirl/Crossdresser's boyfriend being beaten up and most likely killed by his colleagues in the army? he had become lovers with the tgirl until knowledge about their relationship reached his friends....

Saw an interesting Hong Kong film at the recent Bangkok International Film Festival, Colour Blossoms. Hirasu is one of the stars.

And I have to say, Me...Myself is one of the better Thai movies this year, although not exactly a transgender film.

The movie version of "Rent" --- the tranny character is believable and well-acted.
