Excellent documentary. Years ago, you would not have seen this on TV in the Philippines. Granted, the Philippine government has a long way to go to eliminate discrimination.

LBGT in Philippines are also becoming better organized and lobbying for change. As you say it will take time, but I think eventually progress will be made.

I agree. Progress has been made and it will continue in the Philippines and elsewhere. A few years back, when I was regularly engaged in political discussion on this forum, I don't think any of us could have predicted the events that happened in the USA to open the doors for not only same sex marriage but immigration as well. It has definitely pushed the rest of the world to open the doors to same sex relationships and to eliminate discrimination.
