I think I read somewhere that this procedure is now illegal on young under 18's but as we all know - so is having an abortion (unless signed off for "medical reasons" by a doctor) - end result, heaps of terminations and no comeback. By the way, I have no experience of this either and cant say I have ever come across anyone who has done it short of the whole chop. And in that regard, the infamous Dr Thep does not seem to figure in the top docs for this procedure given his expertise is adding assets not removing them.........

The operation can be had for free, in some countries.

The only requirement is that there is an onset of gangrene. (One way to accomplish that would be exposure to cold temperatures for a prolonged period of time, without heeding various forms of conventional wisdom i.e. "do not fall asleep in snow, in an intoxicated state").

I am slightly curious if "phantom pain" is ever an issue, after having removed testicles.

Concerning testicle operations, I would rather "Let it be".


A good intention, does not necessarile give a good result. (not my quote).
I know near nothing about the background for your question. However, a result of making a body look "more perfect", could be that the owner of the body, starts looking for a more perfect partner.  (Or increases the efforts of looking for a more perfect partner.)
Good luck in not having your plan(s), backfire on yourself.

The main reason I'm interested in orchiectomies is because I have one testicle that is considerably smaller than the other one, and significantly more painful.
There is testicular cancer in my family, so I'm interested in getting the painful one removed, and have the doctor look at the other one for signs of cancer

If this is the reason why you want the procedure done, I think you are better off doing it in your home country. Diagnosis and treatment for testicular cancer may not always be as good in Thailand as it is at home.

 This is a good general rule, if one can afford the operation at home. However, surgical procedures in the USA can be very expensive (expensive malpractice insurance?).

It is my understanding, that US surgeons, will not "touch" the work of other surgeons. Not even inspect the work of other surgeons (little to gain, and a lot to lose).

Someone living in the U.S., might consider Canada for various surgery.

My use of dinero for health-care in Asia, did have a good outcome:

I used to have a long term relationship with a Philipina in Europe. She developed an abscess, on the side of the neck. The fine public hospital doctors, did prescribe medicine, but could not accurately diagnosticate the type of disease involved. The medicine did not stop the abcsess from growing.
So I thought, maybe she has a condition which might be more common among Pilipinas, than among Europeans.

So, a vacation to the Philippines was prioritized.

Thru contacts, I found advice about one excellent doctor.
(One piece of advice, was that surgery at the biggest hospitals in PHILIPPINES was expensive, but that the best of the doctors at the hospitals, also had their own private practices.)

So, I go see this recommended doctor :
(PARANAQUE CITY   GRAGEDA, ERNIEFEL P., MD   EPG BUILDING, NO. 67 DONA SOLEDAD AVENUE, BETTER LIVING SUBDIVISION   ).

He inspects the medical condition of my girlfriend, and says that the abscess will become a problem AFTER it opens up, (and is not surgically removed THEREAFTER).
  End of story, the abscess "breaks through" the skin a few days later, and is surgically removed. No complications. Check-up is OK. (A tumour (?) about the size of 2 golfballs were removed, resulting from "scrofula" , akin to tuberculosis).

This surgeon commented on my Duke University basketball shirt, regarding that he had travelled to Duke, ready to accept a job as a surgeon there. However, the job was an administrative one. (Administrative jobs are not at the top of the list for young, CONFIDENT surgeons.)


Anyway, I hope that you already have a professional OPINION as to your plans.
(Even if you do not have cancer in your testicles, there might be studies that will indirectly recommend removing testicles pertaining to someone of such-and-such an age with such-and-such an incidence of testicular cancer in ones family.)

As for appropriate doctors in Thailand, I do not know. But you could ask Seya (of Pattaya). She left her balls in Bangkok. And was quite happy about it.

That is my preference, have one or both removed here in Bangkok, don't have health insurance, so can't really afford the fortune it would cost.
According to all the internet searches I've done, and the recent blood tests I've had, I don't have cancer now, but would like to try to avoid it, and if castration is a good way, I'm willing, and just have to learn to be a eunich.
This is why I'm looking for recommendations

My ex wife can probably help you for free. I know she tried to remove mine. Didn't heal fully until the divorce was final.

Farangin..I have heard rumors of a village in the northern regions of Thailand bordering on Laos that does this type of operation. Thre is no cost to you as the removed testicle is revered by the village people as a "sign of Prosperity". Good luck!!
