I think the pope is right to stick with the beliefs of the catholic church.
Accepting homos and TS/TV would be a treason of catholic values and morals.

So as a consequence, I don't like the catholic church. Not that I really care anyway...

Catholic church aint all bad....bar those kiddie fiddlers and a few other wank stains the church has had a more postive effect then a negative one on peoples lives.

I have to agree with this.............individuals I've met within the church have been lovely people with a genuine inner love and benevolence which spreads throughout the community and they are loved and respected for that............but the fecking wankers who hold the reigns of power have lost this respect from the populace........

I've seen this first hand especially from the older population in Ireland who'll place their faith in the hands of a parish priest they know but spit on the hierarchy for the blind eye turned during years of abuse to the children left in the care of the church.........while their faith remains their trust has left the building.............

When our local guy says God Bless All......he means it and does not exclude the sexual diverse of the world....

I need reminding such nutters exist, they rarely get one of their loopy letters published in the newspapers in Australia when the rest of us can make fun of them,

but friends assure me they exist wall-to-wall in some parts of the US.

Next to them the Pope presents as the voice of reason, well at least a lot more restrained than the insane antics of the American bible-belt.
