      yes, if you read her story it was her face which was disfigured so that can still be fixed {maybe}

But still rather skeptical that an SRS can be 'fixed' despite what a postie friend had told [ and shown] me once........seems like once they get fooling around down in there then there would be no turning back. A face..... who knows, but for sure do anything else in the west despite the costs.

Had a Thai friend once who had FIVE nose jobs because they kept messing it up.....really all that was left after a while was cartilage.

as I have always said;  Morons like the Camel get to be called "Doctor" in Thailand, but in the west we have another name for them...."Criminal"

(HeatherT @ May 20 2008,20:21) As an American, I have been scared, mutilated, and disfigured by offshore plastic surgery in Thailand. I traveled to Thailand for plastic-reconstructive surgery because it was too expensive in the United States, and American insurance companies would not cover the cost of the procedure because they viewed it as an elective surgery. Before going to Thailand, I did months of research on Thai doctors and hospitals in my price range,
        You go girl.

At least you can say that did your research beforehand.

I totally agree that you have the obligation as an American to barge into any courtroom in the world and demand the right to sue a man you admittedly spent months researching, for performing a cut-rate cut in some far off land.

You are also correct in identifying a major problem... that the Thai people don't sue enough. Those heathens need a dose of some real American values, along with the requisite number of trial lawyers. If only they were so litigiously enlightened as you... then they would really be smiling!

Your emotional distress is entirely someone else's fault and I'm guessing you won't be whole again until there's a cash settlement. Caveat emptor be damned and to hell with "you get what you pay for"... because god damn it, YOU'RE AN AMERICAN!

I researched for about 5 minutes and found out all I needed to know!

From my own sampling of the SRS performed by Dr.Kamol I think he does a fine job. Not a complaint and any fears, issues, problems post surgery were taken care of right away. The lady in question is very happy with her SRS, the price was right and for me the sex is great.

Maybe the Doc made the same mistake that we did, then!

Talk to 100 different ladyboys who have been to a certain doctor and you will get 100 different answers for the most part ...whether it was new tits, SRS, new hips, a nose job, etc..... and I myself have witnessed varying degrees of success as well. I mean, come on; girls with boob jobs and one nipple points straight up to the sky while the other points to the floor? tits completely out of whack? new vagina's which look not unlike a roast beef sandwich? Chin "extensions" which in reality just make the girl look freaky and as if she belongs in a cartoon skit? Not to mention those hip enhancements which can literally kill a person [and have] once they slide down into the thigh area.

2 old adages apply when visiting these so-called doctors in Thailand; You get what you pay for and Buyer beware.

Shocking up date to the Beware of Dr. Kamol post!!!

See below copy of Jenna Jorden's post and address of the transsexual web site. In this and earlier posts she describes her self as the International Director of Marketing for Dr. Kamol's sex change clinic. But, much more importantly, she goes on to talk about her relationship with police in Thailand!!!! I have been bably harmed by this doctor, and things are making much more sence!!!!

                        caveat emptor

                        NOUN:

The axiom or principle in commerce that the buyer alone is responsible for assessing the quality of a purchase before buying.

                        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                        ETYMOLOGY:
From Latin caveat mptor, let the buyer beware : caveat, third person sing. present subjunctive of cavre, to beware + mptor, buyer
It's been a rough day. I got up this morning ... put a shirt on and a button fell off. I picked up my briefcase, and the handle came off. I'm afraid to go to the bathroom.
