We were staying at the Kata Beach Novotel and went out to see what was happening nearby. Things were still quite quiet due to the mourning but we did find the New Wave Bar.
It is a large open air bar that is made of of 3 smaller bars. There is at least 4 pool tables and several bars.
Even on this slow evening there was at least 6 ladyboys along with a dozen ladies or so. A couple of the ladyboys were serving the others just hanging out.
Most were quite good looking.
So if you are out in the Kata or Karon Beach areas, this is a good spot for ladyboys.
It is on Kata Road just off Soi Pakbang and is right beside the big entertainment Alley with rows of outdoor beer bars and food.
Probably more ladyboys to be found down there too but this New Wave seems to be the main hub.
