Layla and I went to Why Not bar in the afternoon on a Wednesday about 4pm and they were open with a couple ladyboys already there.
We sat outside and ordered a beer and it is a nice shaded alley to drink on in the afternoon, it was only a couple blocks from out hotel too at the Somerset Park Residence.
Next door we see Shag Bar 2 and across the street Top Secret Bar, both lady bars, a number of other bars on this street too so can get festive here in Asok.

Soon there was 6 ladyboys there before 5pm. We ended up playing pool upstairs with some of the ladyboys and we rang the bell once and bought several rounds of Tequila for everyone. On top of that was many gin and tonics, so we were totally gooned when we left Way out bar around 6pm.

It is quite hard to find. Layla was searching for it a long time.

Thanks CRAG for your detailed reply. I could easily find the place by just following your map. It was 2 PM though when I got there and the bar was closed so I don't have anything useful to report!

I have not been able to locate this bar despite two attempts on foot! According to stickboy (https://www.stickboybangkok.com/bars...k-coming-soon/) it is between Sois 18 and 20 but last night I walked down in Soi 18 up to the end but could not find the place.

Anyone here had a better luck than me in finding this place?

I meant to check it out when i was just in Bangkok but never made it.

It is not on Soi 18 at all, so you wouldn't find it on there.
It is off Soi 20, there is an alley right before Soi 20 off Sukhumvit.
I think this Alley is also considered Soi 20.
This is where the Top Secret Bar is, that is mentioned in that article.

If you search for the Green Lotus Guest House, it shows up on Google maps even though it is closed now.
Check the Red Dot and Arrow on my map.

I have read reports on another forum that a new lb lounge bar has opened up on Sukhumvit Soi 20 - Why Not. Currently 8 lbs on staff, and they had their soft opening Nov. 4/16.

It's not too far away from the new location for Chaos 9.
