May 5 Coronation Day & May 8 Visakha Bucha.

Looking ahead to my next trip and see the Thai calendar studded w/holidays. Visakha Bucha (all things Buddha) looks especially spiritual.
I don't want to spend valuable vacation days without a bar and ladyboys galore, so are these close-down-the-bar holidays or what?
